how do i verify my age to access all levels of maturity in second life.

My other avi has been age verified for many years, but i cant remember how it was done..please advise, thankyou kindly.

it happens with signing up now, your day of birth determens your age.

You need to set the levels of access yourself in the viewer, in search and on MP.

You verified your age when you gave your Date of Birth when registering this account.  The TOS says You were supposed to give truthful information.  

If you didn't  then you have to file a support ticket and get it changed.  Be prepared to answer questions about how anyone 'forgets' their birthday and be able to prove your RL age by providing RL documentation.  LL will tell you what they need and where and how to send it.

If you are not 18 in RL, don't even try it.  LL views this very seriously and you may find yourself banned for life.

Just in case all you need is to set your age preferences accordingly.....

Since you registered with your real life information and birth date, all you need to do that is age related is to make sure you have selected the level of information you are willing to see in all these locations:

1) In the Viewer General Tab [ G ] [ M ] [ A ] - Check the desired options

2) In the Viewer [Ctr'-M] World Map Events: [ G ] [ M ] [ A ] - Check the desired options

3) In the in-world Search Window - Perform any search then check the desired viewing levels in the upper left area of the search window - [ G ] [ M ] [ A ]

4) In the MarketPlace click on the Show maturity levels Down Arrow and select the desired viewing options phrase. {Note: I find it interesting that you can select Adult Only as one of the options here}

Additional Note: Do understand that many Adult venues may also impose a "How Long Has the Avatar Been Created" restriction. This is to keep out griefers and in some cases, new persons [ noobies ] from these areas.
