Verification of what?

As far as I know, Linden Lab has not sent a verifying e-mail when you join for quite some time.  However, you should always get a verifying e-mail when you make any transaction on Marketplaced or the LindeX, and you should get an e-mail when you get a Linden Home.  If you are not getting those:

1. Check on your dashboard at secondlife.com >>> Account >>> Contact Information to be sure that you entered the correct e-mail address.

2. Check the spam filter in your e-mail to be sure that messages are not being blocked.

You will not receive IMs or group notices forwarded to e-mail unless:

1. You have checked the box in Preferences to allow forwarding and

2. You have not exceeded the cap of 25 messages saved in the system since your last login.

BTW, if you are looking for an e-mail that contains the address to your Linden Home, you can also find that information on your dashboard at secondlife.com >>> Land >>> My Mainland
