how do i get rid of lag on old version

Question

You can reduce the feel of lag on the client end by doing these things:

1) reduce your draw distance

2) remove excess scripts (these may be embedded in clothing or objects you wear). If you wear clothing with scripts, use the popdown menu for the item to delete the script once you have resized the item.  You can find out how many scripts you carry by clicking on your avatar and selecting S.Count on the pie (depends on which viewer you are using).  Try to get it under 150 or 100.  Today, I wore less than 20 scripts.

3)  Make sure your hardware meets the recommended requirements for running Second Life.  You can find those here:

https://secondlife.com/my/support/system-requirements/

These are some of the things you can do to reduce lag on your end.  Good luck!
