That is a very odd behavior!  And thank you for providing so much information.

Although that particular glitchiness is something I have not seen before, and despite the fact you report that things were previously working OK, my guess is that the problem is your graphics card.  The Intel 520 integrated graphics has a 3D Passmark score of 784.  Compare that with a high end gaming graphics card such as the Nvidia GeForce 980, with a score of almost 10,000!

But at least you can try something to determine whether the problem is your machine/connection, or something in your account or in SL itself.  Enlist the help of a friend, and log in using a different computer.  If the problem persists, it's not on your end.  If the problem is gone...well, if it were me, I'd trade in the laptop for a good gaming desktop computer with Nvidia graphics.

There are some Win 10 problems. You are running an older version of Win 10: build 10586, 64-bit. The current version is version 1607 build 14393. You may want to try updating. I suggest you Google for your laptop and Win 10 Anniversary update problems. Then decide.

I was confused on your driver version. Your CPU i3-6100U CPU @ 2.30GHz is a sixth gen CPU and the latest driver Intel shows for its 520 in Win 10 flavor is version 15.40.28.4501. (Reference) You show 20.19.15.4300.

So, looking for a 520 version 20.19.15.4300 driver I find that is the driver for 520’s supporting Win 7. I suggest updating the driver.

You may find the Win 10 updates the driver. There are other changes in Win 10 that make this a bit nicer OS to use. Plus there is a significant change in the graphics pipeline. My new GTX 1060, yes I’m bragging, would not install on the pre-August 2016 version of Win 10. I had to update.

Some SL users are running into OpenGL problems, the Second Life render interface. If you force updates so that you are sure you have all the updates, you should be good. At least I seem to be missing the problems others are reporting. Force the update by typing WINDOWS UPDATE and selecting Check Now.

The tech info you included gave me a clue as to what may be the problem. But, the best tech info for troubleshooting SL issues comes from the viewer. Use it’s HELP->ABOUT… to collect the driver info we need most. You didn’t provide an OpenGL version.

I would very much like to know what frames you get with you system... if you would message me here in the forum.

The one thing you seem to be overlooking .. I had no problems up until September 4th. I am not sure what happened because I had not downloaded anything .. last updates that were done on my computer (which I bought in April) .. and though you say it only supports this graphics card on WIn.7... according to a link provided from firestorm site ( http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005526.html?wapkw=cs-034343) It does show that this card is supported for Win 10 on a 64 bit sys. I haven't had any problems and have ran smoothly on it for just at five months. I am not saying the drivers could not have gone bad.. but it just seems very strange that it is being so highly selective.
