How do I get in touch with the Linden Department of Public Works and have someone remove it?

Hi Will,

File an Abuse Report on the tree. If you're a premium member, try live chat or file a support case.

If none of that works, try Roundup.

are you sure it is on your land?...often the protected land has a bit blocky form. Your path might be encraoching LL land... and not the tree yours

If it's really on your land, or encroaching you should be able to simply return it.

Higlight your landborders and you will be able to see it.

 

If it's on yours, simply file a ticket to support, or use livechat, you'r premium.

I would box a bit clever if I was you:) Knowing how the borders of Linden protected land tend to be a little complex and looking at the other typical roadside plants in your shot you may in fact be the one encroaching there

The tree extends slightly onto your land but only by a tiny fraction so you probably won't get anywhere with demands. Better ask very nicely instead.

A few things to note:

1. It is not posssible to return Linden vegetation (but I'm sure you already new that)
2. Even if you have a parcel by the Linden Road, you have no right implicit or explicit to connect a driveway to it. Linden Lab nearly always tolerates it though, as long as it doesn't block the traffic on the road
3. As mikka said, your driveway definitely encroaches on Linden owned land and LL might well decide to remove both the tree and the driveway
4. If you really p* them off, they can just move the tree a few cm out, still right in the middle of your driveway without encroaching on your land.

No, just joking really. LL never do things like that. But they may choose to do nothing at all so you better ask nicely.
