Ever had that thing where you can't see your own chat messages while everyone else can?

I did for days. It was intensely annoying.Drove me nuts. Tried different viewers, cleared my cache, changed my outfit, wore a default avatar...

And do you know what the problem was?

I was on my own ignore list.

Yes. It is very easy to mute your self in Viewer 2.0

It's super-annoying. You have a kind of "wait... what did I just say?" thing happening.

I started a JIRA on a lil while back because so many people were doing it to themselves and posting on Answers asking what happened.

I read the JIRA, and even the Linden who posted on there agreed that you shouldn't be able to mute yourself by clicking an adjacent menu item when trying to return something (which was, I think, exactly how I did it). So there we go.But seriously, I had nothing to add that hadn't been said. I am not sure a "me too" is of utility.
