When will we be back to regularly scheduled shineys? Cause this well has run dry.

Echoing the previous poster, it would be nice (though by no means necessary) to know when we'll be done with the OS upgrades on the servers and back to server deploys.

At the Tuesday and Thursday user group meeting the Lindens talk a bit more about what they are doing with the servers.

Inara Pey (her blog) and I (my blog in sig) write about the goings on in those meetings.

Currently there is work on Voice/Vivox, griefing fixes, and adding code to collect performance data.

It is vacation time. That slows some things. 

There are meetings going on with Vivox. Vivox and the Lab are working to find and fix problems in voice. Recent denial of service attacks on Vivox servers have caused many dropped and intermittantly failing voice connections. Plus they are planning improvements to the voice service.

There is more work being done on the Linden made 64-bit viewer.

While there are not new shiny features to brag about showing up weekly, there is work happening and changes are being made. And while I like new shinnies, I  understand some upgrades and changes are, to me, boring and yet have to be made.
