Mature Sims

OK so I'm turning 18 Sunday the third and I was wondering if u had to age verify to go on mature Sims or no cause my bros acount is not and it can  but I have no clue help?

You only need to age verify (or account verify by adding payment info to your account) if you want to visit adult-rated sims. Sims with a mature / moderate rating don't require age verification. I assume that you will automatically be able to enter them once you turn 18. If not, you should file a support ticket.

Normally over 18s don`t need to be Age Verified, but it would appear from others that have posted here that if you came from the Teen Grid or joined before you were 18, you do need to get age verified after your 18th Birthday.

Wait until your birthday and then try the automated age verification (on the left of your dashboard in the account section) if that fails go to https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/ and submit a ticket.

There isn`t a specific one for basic accounts so you need to use one of the ones for Account Issues...I would go for the creation one personally....and make sure you give enough details that they can clearly see what the real issue is. Others have tried the same method and had the usual age verification response of requesting a copy of your ID, so fingerscrossed a helpful support member picks up your ticket

 

Make it very clear that you have already tried the automated system and the fact that you originally registered before you were 18, so that you don`t get the standard response sending you to the verification page.
