those are not acepted payment methods, you need a real Credit Card, verified Paypal or Skrill.

Hey there!

If your debit card has a Visa or MC logo on it, you should be fine! I'd wait until later, or even tomorrow if I were you though because SL is acting up ALL OVER the place. Look at any other current thread. People can't TP anywhere, and right now my inworld linden balance says L$??. I'm not even kidding. 

So something is really wrong, and I'd avoid ANY transactions until they resolve it

this is simply NOT true... branded debits/prepaids also often fail. Take the time to read a bit more about these issues.

Well seeing how you're not going to read anything, or you're incapable of doing so. I'll explain in caps.. make is greatly easier for you to read.

 

YOU CANNOT USE A DEBIT CARD OR PREPAID CARD AS YOUR FORM OF PAYMENT, IT HAS TO BE AN ACTUAL CREDIT CARD, OR PAYPAL! WHILE YOUR SECONDLIFE IS DOWN, GO MAKE YOURSELF A PAYPAL ACCOUNT AND ROUTE YOUR BANK ACCOUNT TO IT. STOP SPAMMING THE BLOGS WITH YOUR IMCOMPITENCE WHEN MANY PEOPLE ON LITERALLY TWO DIFFERENT POSTS THAT YOU'VE MADE HAD ALREADY GAVE YOU ANSWERS.

 

As of now woman, the grids are down, linden transactions are down, so is linden exchanges. Stay tuned, it'll be back up and running in due time. Go play a facebook game OR go outside and take a walk, way too stressful for a lindenite to be towards a game, geeze.

Most if not all Pre-paid Cards regardless of the financial issuer brand are not accepted as a Payment Method. The fact that you were able to use one in the past as a Payment Method is no guarantee that it will continue to be valid. Links to the Why are at the bottom of this post.

VAT and changing your billing country

Your selected country determines the payment methods available to you.  Normally, you should not need to change your billing country, but you may need to update it if you are travelling or have moved to a new location.  You can change your billing country by clicking the Change button next to your country's name on the Billing Information page.

If your billing country is a member of the European Union, you may be subject to the collection of value added tax (VAT).  If you are a business and are reselling, or adding value to Second Life before providing it to a consumer, you are eligible to provide your EU-issued VAT ID number in order to be excluded from the collection of VAT.  If you see "Subject to VAT" under your billing country's name on the Billing Information page, you can add your exception by clicking Add VAT Exception and providing your ID.
