I paid for linden dollars havent gotten  them  yet ,  it always got posted as soon as I paid  for  them  so why the delay ???

there is most likely no delay, but you picked Limit buy.

 

Limit buy at higher exchange rate isn't instanly. If you putted a non realistic rate even will never fill, but your money is hold till the order is cancelled or processed.

If you want your L$ directly you have to do a market buy.
