Name not available?

When I check a viewers profile, it says "thisnameis unavailable",and yet i saw them logged on last night. Is this a viewer issue, or some other technical problem, or is it that they have somehow deleted the abilty for me ot see their profile? Could this mean they have deleted their account?? Please advise, what this error messae means, and how to resolve it! Thanks!

My guess is that the person has unchecked the box in Preferences that makes his/her name visible in Search. It's also possible , of course, that you are looking for a Display Name instead of the person's real (i.e., login) name.
