Hi Melanie,

You might try an alternate viewer. I always keep two viewers on hand to help isolate problems when I have them. If switching viewers fixes the problem, try a clean reinstall of your primary viewer. Instructions for doing that can be found here...

If switching doesn't work, the problem may be in the SL servers. Unfortunately resolving that requires opening the kind of support case available only to premium members. If either you or your friend is a premium member, then open a support case here...
