Why can't I change my Preferences to Moderate in-game?

Whenever I try to change my preferences to Moderate in-game, it never works. Does this happen alot or is there an age-restriction for it?

Well, yes, you do have to be at least 18 in RL.  Also, you do need to state your preference in three different places, depending on where you want the Moderate rating to apply.

If you are interested in visiting Moderate-rated places in world, declare a preference in Preferences >>> Setup.

If you want to be able to find moderate-rated items in Marketplace, use the drop-down menu at the top/center of the page in Marketplace.

If you want to be able to find things and places in Search, check the M button in the upper left corner in Search.
