outfit edit camera is stuck pointing straight up cant fix help!!!!!!!

every time i try to edit my character the camera gets locked pointing straight up her skirt and i
cant see what im doing i just started playing second life and this is a major dealbreaker for me please someone help

If you use Firestorm, look in Preferences - Move & View - View
About half way down, Check - Reset camera position on avatar movement.

The easiest trick is to hit ESC a few times -- or sometimes Shift+ ESC.  And if that doesn't work, use CTRL + 9.

How to reset the camera depends on which viewer you use. Because this is your first post, some of us assume you are using the Linden made viewer. But, it makes everyone's life easier if you tell us. I suggest you launch the viewer and before or after login click HELP->ABOUT... and copy that information and paste it in with any question you ask. You can add it to your post using OPTIONS->EDIT in the upper right corner.

There are more camera position controls in Debug Settings than the article lists. When you find the ones mentioned in the article, you will be able to see the others. You can reset those to the defaults by using the button in the Debug Settings panel.
