Hello,

I have noticed that one of the things Linden Lab really loves is the Hindi Language. I do not know the reason that they seem to be attracted to Hindi Language as it is the National Language of India.

1) Aditi Market Place :  Aditi is Hindi word meaning ( boundless or freedom)

https://marketplace.aditi.lindenlab.com

2) Agni : Agni is Hindi word meaning (Fire)

Agni is the name of the system of server, (agni.lindenlab.com) that hosts the "grid" (or main grid) of  Secondlife

3) Project Sansar : Sansar is Hindi word meaning (World ) not Universe

http://goo.gl/0PahKd

4) Hamsa : Secondlife logo based on Hamsa symbol meaning ( luck, health, and good fortune)

it is a symbol used by the Hindus.

Lesser known facts of SL ;-).

Also basis for an ongoing solo rp I do from time to time. Basically some ancient alien types landed on what we now call Agni. These powerful beings left behind great, to us, monuments.

Governor Linden has given us some great RP material to work with..... Or is he one of them o.O

the icon of Second Life is based on the Hamsa, a hand with an eye in the center who is the protector, and the deliverer of hapiness, luck, health, and good fortune.

it is a symbol used by the Hindus.
