When buying land for a group, make sure:

• You are wearing the right group tag.  You don't want to buy the land for the wrong group!
• You are the owner of the group, or have the group ability to buy land for the group.
• The group has enough donated tier to pay for the land's upkeep.  If you are the one donating all the tier to the group, either
  • Make the tier donation in the group's Land and $ tab before purchasing the land, or
  • Check the "owner makes contribution with deed" button in the Buy Land window
