I buy lindens but I select "limit linden" and no "market linden"; I no recieve the lindens, why?

Probably because no resident is willing to sell L$ at the price you are offering to pay.  If you set a buying price that is far below the current market price, your order might sit there for weeks -- or forever -- before someone wants to sell L$ to you.  Remember, the LindeX is an exchange.  You can only buy if someone else is ready to sell at a price you can both agree on.
