MY avatar is transmitting the inworld media when I click on 'speak'

When I click to speak my avatars chat lines move but they are responding to the media playing. When I cancel the media my voice does not transmit either! I used to voice, and now I cant! Very frustrating as I am needed to do presentations. Please Help!

Hi Pheona,

Best suggestion would be to go to the Linden sim Voice Echo Canyon. You can hear your own voice and it makes it easier to fiddle with connections and plugs to find what the problem is.

Downloading of media is taking up bandwidth and causing your voice to cut out.. or it is totally causing your voice to be cancelled out.

 

Turn off Media Autoplay in preferences, that way no media will play until after you have clicked on it.  This way more bandwidth is available for your voice and the ordinary bandwidth SL uses in downloading your environment.
