Will Second Life ever add more group slots?

Will Second Life ever add anymore group slots for Inworld use? I know a lot of people as well as myself who have almost or have used all of their group slots. We pay for a great deal of them and don't just want to leave them.

If you aren't premium, you have less slots, so to get more... get premium.

Otherwise im affraid it's not going to happen. Groups are a huge pain for the servers, and just since short time functioning a bit well. It's not to expect  getting more slots is near.

 

Pick your groups carefully ....

42 slots for basics and 60 for premium ...it's not much, but if you can't manage with 42/60 you won't have enough with 100 either.

Good grief, kids today!  It was not so long ago that the maximum number of groups was 25.  You just don't appreciate how good you have it these days!

If you want more groups, get a Premium membership.  This will increase your available groups from 42 up to 60.

Why in heavens name would you ever need more than 42 group slots? It boggles my mind to imagine what I would ever do with that many.  As Alwin says, groups put an incredible drain on the servers, so it was quite an expense to increase from 25 a few years ago and then to allow Premium members to have 60 (!).  Don't expect that to ever happen again.
