Why can't I change my marketplace email?

From the Account Overview screen in Marketplace, it displays my email address and a "edit account details" below that.  When that is clicked it takes me to the account screen for secondlife.com and no way to change that email.

How can I change the email address associated with the Marketplace?

Since I see no way to reply, I will add more info:

There are indeed two separate places where an email is stored, and no it is not necessarily the same email address.

Try this. Go here, see what email is displayed. You will see it masked, but you should know what address is being referred to. https://accounts.secondlife.com/change_email/



Next, go to the marketplace account screen: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/account.  You will possibly see the same address, or not.



If you do see the same email address as the previous screen, try going to the first screen and editing your email address. Check your email and confirm the change. Then go to the second page and you will see it has not changed. There are definitely two places where an email address is stored, and I'd like to know how to change the marketplace account email.

you can not, there isn't a seperate markeplace account, it's your SL account.

 

the only way i can imagine you got two adresses there was when your xstreet account migrated to MP.

To elaborate, you change the email address of your SL account and Market Place will change with it.
