Changing the default location for an event

I posted an Event (The parcel is owned by a group that I have the 'host event' ability for. The location was given by the server, but I want to change it to where the landing point is. How do I do that. It seems that the deafult location cannot be edited.

I am not sure, but I think you'll have to

1) Set the land to allow teleports only to the landing point you've set

2) Be sure that location shows up in Search when you look up the place

3) Edit your event.  You may have to wait a day or so for the revised land information to show up in Search.

To add to what was said before, Only the group owner/land owner or persons in the group with the rights to changte the "About Land" settings can change the landing point. If the group/land owner has the land set to teleport to the landing point then that is the only place they will appear.

Perhaps I was unclear. The Landing point is not 'Set'. And we do not want to 'Set Landing point'.  I want to know how to change the location that the Events link/slurl takes people to. With the deafult given now by the server, they end up in bushes.

This question did not get a solution, so I try again.

I posted an Event (I have the 'host event' ability). The location was given by the server. This makes people arrive in bushes.

How do I to change the location in the event, so that the link/slurl takes people to where the landing point is. We do no want a 'Set' landing point.
