Need help with a pool

I am trying to place a swimming pool down on a 1/4 Homestead, and it's a huge shaped pool that needs to be lowered into the ground. How do I place it without the water from the sim showing? Is there some trick any builder can tell me, if so, I'm in need of help.

you can only hide the water when lowering it on the whole sim, much easier is raise the land around it., or artificial (mesh) ground objects to hide the structure.

Most builders would deliberately use the region's Linden water as the water in the pool.  It's much better than any artificial water you might use instead.  You just have to plan ahead when you are building, so that your pool is at the appropriate height relative to the water table.

Thank you for answering me, I will try adding ground objects. Nothing against the sim water, but it's just not clear enough.
