Most builders would deliberately use the region's Linden water as the water in the pool.  It's much better than any artificial water you might use instead.  You just have to plan ahead when you are building, so that your pool is at the appropriate height relative to the water table.

Thank you for answering me, I will try adding ground objects. Nothing against the sim water, but it's just not clear enough.
