Unable to connect to a simulator

Today I was in SL, using the Firestorm viewer. I logged in like normal when my client crashed. When I tried to log back on, I could not log on and instead got the error "Login failed. Unable to connect to a simulator." This is odd, becuase I thought maintenance ended. I am able to log in on my alternate account, but not this one. I have tried doing ipconfig /dnsflush, cleanly reinstalling Firestorm, and even using another viewer, and I am still unable to connect. What do I do?
