My avatar won't rez. I've uninstalled, reinstalled connected directly to the internet?

It sounds like you have a common case of bake fail.  It happens to most of us occasionally, and the solution is usually quite easy >>> http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/fs_bake_fail.

If this happens to you a lot, consider the possibility that your connection is not quite as good as you think it is.  Bake fail typically happens when information about your avatar fails to download fully from the servers during login.  You may have a fine, strong "signal" and plenty of bandwidth, but if your connection is unsteady or is losing packets, you'll have an imperfect login.  Rebooting your router and modem can often fix the problem.  So can getting off of a wifi connection and using a direct cable or DSL connection to the Internet. If you have tried those things and had no luck, try temporarily bypassing your router completely by plugging your cable from the computer directly into the modem.  If that improves things, you may need to replace the router.
