Hi Alice, I think you mean the message you get, when you log in with your viewer... Linden Lab has written more about it here:

Secure browsers and update of your viewer

I am not sure, I can explain it to you either, but if you are using the FireStorm Viewer or the SL Viewer, you have to upgrade to the newest version, to be able to make money-transfers inworld (as far as I understand).... It means that you have to download your viewer again, and remember to select the newest version..

This link will take you to where you can download/upgrade the SL Viewer, and you can also find other viewers there, in the link at the bottom of this page:  Viewers

Hello,

The servers of Linden Lab and your browser use some kind of a secure connection, so nobody can read along. This method has been updated to make the connection even more secure. If you want to know, if your browser can handle this new version for the security you click the link given in the blog (https://www.howsmyssl.com/). The result should bring up something like the picture shows below the link (Version in bold letters). Then all is fine. Otherwise you will need to update your browser of your choice. It can be one of the four listet browsers.

Also your viewer uses a browser, for example to open the search or profiles and some other stuff or to watch video in SL. This browser in the viewer needs also the newest way to be able to make L$ transactions. Most well known viewers are uptodate already, like the SL viewer, Firestorm, Alchemy. Some other, older viewer might not have that support.
