How can I release my land?

1. Go to your land
2. Take or delete your objects
3. Right click the ground and choose About Land, or go to the World menu and choose Parcel Details
4. Click the Abandon button

Also, if you have donated any land tier to a group, open that group's information window, go to the Land and $ tab, and remove your donation.

Note that your downgrade will not take effect until the end of the membership period you paid for.  If you are on the annual plan, that could be a while!  Linden Lab does not give refunds for unwanted Premium membership time.  So you might want to do this when your membership is close to the renewal date.
