Ashlyn Gedales
I bought 2 poses from the marketplace and I get a little window that says play locally or in world. I choose in world and my avatar stays in the pose for about a minute and then she gets up. I chose the other one to play locally and she does the same thing. How can I make her stay in the pose longer?I read an SL tutorial about gestures but I couldnt understand where to put a pose that was already made and edit it. Luxen
Well, local to play the pose just for you (client-side) and in world (world-side): for all, so all can see it... https://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Using-gestures-and-animations/ta-p/700069 http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Animation_Override
Kelli May
There are two reasons why an pose would end that I can think of. 1) the animation has a defined run-time. Some animations run forever (actually, they loop), others run for a predetermined time then end. 2) another animation with a higher priority takes over. Often this is when an AO animation starts up. To stop this happening, switch off your AO while trying to pose. If your AO was off, and nothing else was animating your avatar, then the animation is not looping. This is very unusual for a pose animation, which normally run for as long as they are active. You could get around it by putting it in a scripted obejct which keeps triggering the pose, but my money is on something else animating you. Ashlyn Gedales
Thank you guys sooo much. If I turn off my AO, it worked great!
