Can I delete my old avatar but save all of my outfits and purchases?

You can change your Avatar at any point using Skins, Shapes and sometimes Mesh. All of your purchases will remain in your inventory. The worst thing that can happen is you will need to re-adjust all your outfits with your new avatar.

To be perfectly clear, you may change your avatar at any time -- that is, the "person" that you see wandering around under your control in world. If you delete your account, though, everything is lost.  So yes, choose a new shape and skin.  That's fine.  Just don't get rid of StormyCD.

If an outfit is no copy / transfer you can send it to your new account, otherwise you can't save your outfits.
