That's a fun one.

My best bet would be to download a Third Party Viewer that didn't render graphics - a text-based viewer. I've used Radegast in the past with great success, but you might prefer one made for a mobile device.

Once logged into a text-based viewer, you should be able to detach an object without being able to see it.

If you didn't like this option, you could also try disabling Avatar and Volume display items using Ctrl+Shift+Alt+4 and Ctrl+Shift+Alt+9 immediately as you log in, and then try detaching the item, or performing an Character Test (Develop > Avatar > Character Tests > Test Male/Test Female) to remove items as quickly as possible.

If none of these options are suitable, you'll have to create a Support Case and wait for someone from Linden Lab to resolve this for you - this is the slowest option.
