Changing display name

So, I went to some font generator and I changed my display name to ℒ ℛ .. All looked well till about an hour later and my display name was only an "ℒ" And now I have no display name and can't change it for a week. Wouldn't it tell you as soon as you submit your display name that it doesn't accept it? And after waiting a week, should I try the same again or will it revert to only being an "ℒ"?

Not all fonts are accepted for use as a Display Name.

I'm not aware of an authoritative source from Linden Lab for the only accepted font sets.

Trying a font seems to be the sure way to determine if a particular Display Name Font will be scraped away to prevent future login issues with your account as have been seen before in this forum.

We think Linden Lab runs a daemon process that actively looks at the acceptability of a Display Name before allowing it to be internally associated with your account. This is a good thing.

So.... if you try the same font in a week and get the same results then you'll know. Not Allowed.

You can't use that font in a display name, it triggers this bug: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/BUG-11555

The display name will either revert or change to Korean characters.
