Biggest troubles these days is clicking malicious links in chats where you have to enter pw and username.. only click links to MP or other Linden sites when you can go by https, or directly from your own browser or the official homepage. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
0 Lindal Kidd Posted May 27, 2016 Share Posted May 27, 2016 Most scams in SL take one of two forms: An object that requests permission to take money from your account when you rez it in world or wear it A link, given in IM, local chat, group chat, email, or even in a notecard, that leads to a phishing site. If you click the link, you see a page that asks for your user name and SL password. If you enter your user name and password, the scammer can get access to your account.
