Read http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:Account_Security carefully.  You have already changed your password, which was an excellent first step.  Once Linden Lab receives your report, they will lock your account for a few days while they investigate. 

For future reference, it is very difficult to "hack" a SL user account, and not really worth the trouble for most accounts.  It is much more common for people to give access inadvertently by either sharing passwords or falling for a scam.  Read
