i can't log in nor reset my password. whats happening?

i am trying to reset my password but everytime i click on send instructions from the reset page it takes me back to home page with no mail sent to me. i am typing my correct password in the firestorm viewer but it's not letting me log in says incorrect password. wth is going on?

While the maintenance is in progress, some residents may experience login issues and residents in-world may be logged off or experience degraded performance.
