In your case I agree with Alwin's suggestion of performing a clean install, however...

For anyone else having only texture rezzing issues with the new SL Viewer, look in your hidden account folder: 

eg. C:\Users\KarenMichelle Lane\AppData\Roaming\SecondLife\karenmichelle_lane

and delete the XML file named texture_list_last.xml

This will force the rebuild of this XML index and fix issues such as region terrain textures not calculating / blending correctly, high heel invisiprim textures not loading and showing up as a black box et al.
