Second Life Updated Viewer

Yesterday my Second Life viewer updated itself and now it's not working properly. It takes forever to connect and more often than not as soon as it shows I'm connected I get booted from SL. Very frustrating.

did you do a clean install?...if not try that

the article is a bit dated, but it's still nearly the same for most OS

In your case I agree with Alwin's suggestion of performing a clean install, however...

For anyone else having only texture rezzing issues with the new SL Viewer, look in your hidden account folder: 

eg. C:\Users\KarenMichelle Lane\AppData\Roaming\SecondLife\karenmichelle_lane

and delete the XML file named texture_list_last.xml

This will force the rebuild of this XML index and fix issues such as region terrain textures not calculating / blending correctly, high heel invisiprim textures not loading and showing up as a black box et al.
