Ejected and stuck in limbo

This isn't a big deal, but I am curious:

In the past too months, I have attempted twice to visit a certain popular jungle sim, (it might be considered improper to name names). The rules and instructions are complicated, and before I can even read the entire billboard, I get a notice saying I am being "gently escorted" to an exit. 

Then I find myself stuck in some sort of dark, bleak, and lonely limbo that looks like the a**-end of nowhere, stripped of most of my attachments, unable to move or teleport to another location. I'm forced to log out of SL and restart my viewer if I want to return to SL.

Does anyone else experience this kind of rude ejection, or am I just seen as a particularly noxious invader to be ejected from a public sim and sent to purgatory? (Joking)

I can't access anything, but I'm still logged in. Just stuck. I went back, got in, and still wound up in limbo the first mistake I made. Had to log out and log back in to do anything, again. I'm not going back there, it's too much of a drag.
