I made the new video of "how to make animations" series.

The point of this video.

1. How to bring LiveAnimation's skeleton structure close to your Avatar's it.

2. How to prevent your Avatar floating above a floor.

If this is watched, you will be able to create a pose and an animation that matched with your Avatar rapidly.

Hello there.

First of all, I wanted to say it's really great what you're doing with sharing your knowledge with these videos, and second, and I apologize for this, does Live Animation no longer exist? I am having some difficulty locating it. I can't really see the link for it in the video so well, a bit blurry for me. Is it possible if you could link me to it please?

Sloverdrive, any new updates on this software? Has the english version been fully completed yet? I am looking for a guide

on how to import and rig a new character inside LA STUDIO... in english... is it possible to rename bones and retarget like BVH HACKER? I am also looking for Bento avatars for LA STUDIO..perhaps a guide on how to import?

Also, LIVE ANIMATION is free version? There is no full version?

According to the site of LA, the latest version is β4.65.
I do not know when a higher version is released.

No.
Because it is still a beta version even in a Japanese version.

LA can load a FBX file.
However, bone structure became strange when I tried the Bento FBX file.
Therefore, I think that a FBX file should not be used yet by LA.
Moreover, Rig cannot be constructed although an Obj file can be read.

I am sorry, I do not know about this.

I think that only the free version exists now.
However, the full version had been sold before.

Finally, I think that LL should provide Bento animation software like LA.¬¬

Ok Sloverdrive, the software has much potential... intuitive features as-is.. low learning curve but would be good to have full english version.. I hope this project is not abandoned.. are you one of the developers of LIVE ANIMATION?

I also hope that the development of LA will continue in the future.
But unfortunately I am just a user.
If I were the developer of LA, I will surely make it correspond to Bento for SL creators.-_-

Hi Sloverdrive, great tuts, and thanks for effort to make them.

 

I am using last version of Liveanimation and when choose to edit path, vertex points are shown but i cant select them. Wondering can that be a bug or something..

Also, would be really great if u could do one brief tutorial where you actually make animation, like walk cycle or something like that.

I do not plan to make it because patience is necessary to make a real walk cycle.:(
I think that the way of making the walk cycle is basically the same as other tools.
If you understand how to make keys, videos for 3dsmax and Maya on YouTube will be helpful.


Above all, I hope that LA tutorials are made by people other than me.:SwingingFriends:

Thanks for posting new videos :)

About making tutorial for walk cycle, i thought about a bit more clear instructions about  LA UI (like what is frame move and cancel, auto add key, etc..), otherwise i am familiar with other  software animaton making... Anyway, with a bit more investigating, i guess i will manage to deal with UI. Thanks again :)
