Sure! You may always abandon the Linden Home, and you may always rent a different parcel. The two actions are independent of each other. If you are plannin to live on the Mainland, though, it makes more sense to buya new parcel than to rent it. You will have to pay the purchase price for the parcel, of course, but your Premium land fee waiver will apply toward monthly fees on that new parcel, the same way that it applies to your Linden Home now. If you rent (or if you buy land in a private estate), you will not be using the land fee waiver that you have already paid for.
