Question

Posted

I purchased an item  in- world back in March 2016, didn't receive it.  I have contacted the seller 2 times, sending her a notecard with the transaction details.  She has been online, and has refused to respond.  Is there anything that can be done regarding this?

Edited  There's no re-delivery terminal there, not a big store.  Nothing can be done?  Someone's walking away with money and not delivering a product?   That is a major cause of concern.

Short answer, no.  Slightly longer answer, you should go back to the store and see if there is a redelivery terminal.  Use Area Search if it's a big place.  Also have a look around and see if there is a board with customer service reps listed.  There might also be an update group which might help.  If the store uses caspervendors you have a very good chance of getting a redelivery.

If the item was copy/no transfer then there is no reason not to send a redelivery, but if a store owner doesn't want to then you have pretty much no recourse.  LL won't get involved with this sort of issue under any circumstances.

This is a long shot but if the seller uses CasperVend and the item is copyable, you can use any CasperVend redelivery terminal in any store, they are all linked up.

There's very little chance the seller uses that vendor system but at least it's worth checking.
