When looking at the radar what does the S (in sitting) mean next to an avi's name? I have asked a few people and they weren't sure. Thank you

 

ok I do see the S when they are sitting. But it also appears when they are dancing or just standing. Does this mean they are attached to something or touching something?

"seated" or "sitting"

 

ie they're sat on something.

In Second Life, 'Sitting' means more than just playing a sitting animation. If they are really sitting, then they are attached to the thing they are sitting on and so can not be moved (by hits or bumps).
