depends on what you want to rezz.

 

if it's big, there are pub;ic sandboxes, and even some private ones.

 

if it's just things like vehicles/shopping bags etc, the road network is full of "rezzing areas" you can openly use.

 

I'll drop you a couple of landmarks inworld to quiter ones.

You may rez objects:

1. On land that you own

2. On land that a group you belong to owns, as long as your role in the group allows you to create objects

3. On land that you rent, as long as the landowner has invited you to join a group that gives you the ability to create objects.

4. In public or private sandboxes.

5. In designated areas on Linden-owned land (these include, for example, vehicle rezzing zones, various park areas, and some areas at Info Hubs).

Also, as others have pointed out, you can rez objects at other spots where the landowner has been forgetful, lazy, or stupid and has left the land open for rezzing objects.
