Why do some LMs have red pushpins?

Hi Rivernaut,

Once upon a time, red landmarks were supposed to indicate LMs you hadn't yet visited. Once you did visit, the LM pin would turn "faded mauve". They never got that to work, so the pin color doesn't mean a thing.

Here's the 8.5 year old bug report, in which LL says they're not gonna fix it...
