In Preferences- privacy

In preferences-privacy  there is a setting to not show my avi in search results. This setting does not work. I've set it in the SL viewer and also in the FS viewer. Is there something I'm doing wrong or is this setting usless as it does not protect your privacy at all.

Hi Pasley,

You can't really make yourself vanish from search, but you can set your profile so that nothing much is revealed, other than your existence and your SL birth date.

Go to my.secondlife.com and log-in. Then click on "Settings" over on the left and select the "Privacy" tab. Restrict access to each aspect of your profile as you wish.
