is there a way to stop an account from deleting?

Hi Godess,

If your friend was a premium member, he'll still have access to Live Chat until the account closes at the end of the billing cycle. He can request re-instatement of the account there and I suspect LL will be happy to have him (and his money) back.

If he is a basic member, he'll have to open a support case (Live Chat is also on this page for premium account holders)...

Have him select "Account Issue" from the first drop-down and "Reactivate an old account" from the second. It's not quite a re-activation, as the account hasn't been closed yet. He can explain that in the space provided and hopefully avoid the $9.95 reactivation fee.
