I'm trying to buy L$ from the official website, but whenever I fill in the $ field with say $10 (or whatever amount), it automatically "resets" to $53.00 as soon as I press the Place Order button.I have put a relative sceenshot at the top of this message (just follow the link)

Hello, new users have a maximum sell/buy rate for a limited time, maybe you hit that limit ?

Thank you for replying, but what is that limit, how long it stays in effect  and how can we see it? I am almost 6 months old in SL. Is it possible I have somehow set a limit for the $ field and I don;t remember it? If so, how can I reset it?

You wlll find details of the Lindex Billing and Trading Limits by going to your dashboard,, clicking on "manage" just underneath your L$ total in the left-hand column, and then clicking on Billing/Trading Limits.

Note that the relevant time period for calculating your limit is days since the first billing transaction with LL (i.e. when first the account became Payment Info Used), not how old the account is..
