You may have many rings around the trunk of your body, but few notches in SL.

Your account was created on 16th March 2016, making your account... 15 days old. Many locations in Second Life expect avatars to be at least 30 days old, in order to reduce griefing.

That's probably what 'age' is referring to in the message you received.

Freya's answer is probably the best and most likely reason.

Your viewer also has a preference setting for PG, Moderate, and Adult. That limits what you will see in SL, search, and the marketplace. In the viewer's top menu: Me->General neat the top is a setting for 'I want to access content rated:' Makre sure it is set to your preference.

I understand age verification works one way in the USA and differently else where. You'll find the details in the knowledge base: https://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Accessing-Adult-land-and-content/ta-p/805975

The control that land owners have is explained here: https://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Age-restriction-parcel-and-estate-management-features/ta-p/700023

Reading those your realize having Payment Information on File is another big deal. Land owners use it to reduce griefing problems. There is a sub-note to that attribute: Has used payment info. You don't hae to use your Payment method, just have it on file. But, some land owners that have been targeted for abuse also require you to have used the information to buy something. They feel that is further proof you are not a griefer churning thought throw-away accounts.

Also, error messages in Second Life are not absolutely accurate. They are on occassion misleading. You can IM or send a note card to the region owner and ask what the restrictions are.

At sign up there was an age verification. If you made a mistake, the account is pretty much screwed up forever. Consider a new account. Remember. Lying about age to the Lab is a violation of the ToS and can get the account banned. Not that you did, but a mistake in age registration looks suspecious to the Lindens. Be careful.
