# Best way to subdivide land and see prim count as you do it

I'm not sure which of two things you are asking about.  If you want to know the land impact capacity of a parcel, you can see it in About Land >>> Objects at any time.  If you want to estimate it before you subdivide a parcel, you can do a quick calculation from the area of the subdivided parts.  Every sq meter of land will support 0.2285 L.I., so take the area of the subdivided parcel you intend to create and multiply it by that number. That will give you the capacity.  The other thing you might be asking about is how much L.I. is currently associated with objects on the parts of the parcel you plan to divide.  You can't estimate that before subdividing.  You'll have to wait until you have split the parcel in two, and then look on About Land >>> Objects for the actual L.I. rezzed on the two new parcels.
