i want to set a profile picture but when i push the choose file button nothing happends

i have a profile pic its about 178kb its small its a pmg  its uploaded to sl as a texture   i also have it on my pc as well.   i need to set a profile picture i dont have one but when i push the choose file button nothing happends is it a bug  , or is it something im doig wrong ?

I am not sure if you are trying to do this InWorld, but sometimes in my personal experience the profile system can be a bit touchy. The best way in my opinion to adjust your profile including image is to use my.secondlife , your web browser might have a better luck reading the "Choose File" button. Thinks, try to drag the texture you want go use from your inventory to the area where yor profile picture need to appear. It's long time ago i changed mine.
