what is degraded performance on your connection to the region?

Question

I receive this message several times per day, in addition to inability to do anything except rotate in place.  Cannot see all my HUDS and cannot detach, attach anything.  This is becoming annoying.  Is there anything I can do to fix this?

It means what it says -- there's some problem with transmitting information between your computer and the region.

If it's only one particular region where this is happening, then restarting the region might fix things.

Otherwise, if you're on a wireless connection, that may well explain it -- SL is designed for fixed wired or cable connections.   So switching to a fixed connection might well solve your issues.

Alternatively (or if you're already on a fixed connection), rebooting the router often fixes a lot of problems, since it establishes a new connection which should bypass any intermediary point that's malfunctioning.
