I was just wanting to know how much $25 was worth in Lindens if I put $25 on SL.

You're wanting to purchase Lindens, to you'd watch the "Best buying rate" which is L$249/US$1.00.

So, US$25 would get you about L$6,225.

If you click the "Buy L$" link on the left side of your web dashboard, you'll go directly to this page...

That page allows you to enter either the amount of US$ you want to spend, or the amount of L$ you want to get. It'll compute the other amount automatically. You can then execute the purchase if you wish.

Spend it wisely!

ETA: Rhonda's answer (obtained by following Alwin's advice) is exactly right at the moment of purchase. It might not be L$6200 tomorrow, though it will be close. The exchange rate varies, but not by much. And there is that US$0.30 transaction fee, which you'd have to subtract from your US$25 before purchasing, if that's a hard limit. Then you'll net L$6,125.

The easy answer >>>> 1000 x US $ / 4 is always a good close estimate of the amount in L$.

So....  1000 x $25 / 4 = L$6250 .  You'll notice that's quite near to what Maddy, Alwin, and Rhonda said, and it didn't require logging in to the LindeX page either.
