I have no idea whether my avy's displaying bigger or smaller than it should as I could compare with only ONE friend so far (and we actually have no idea whether it's me or she having trouble with the display neither, btw), but we both uninstalled/reinstalled both frestorm and the SL viewer and the problem is still there, and it shows on both our computers.

How can we fix it please anyone?

Going for the prize for vague post of the day.

You're "bigger or smaller", compared to what? Do you feel bigger on the screen (perhaps your view is zoomed in, Ctrl+9 will reset)? Are you smaller against other furniture? Does your height actually change if you get a height measuring script, or in the viewer?

Could it be shoe layers, or a mesh avatar thowing things off? Perhaps your shapes hover setting? Does a character test fix it?

Can you include a picture or... give us a clue. It could be a bajillion things that you're doing wrong.

Well, put simply me and my friend used to be about the same size and now I look tall and huge and she looks small and thin.

Also, me and my friend are also friends IRL and she's here at home with me, and we just did a test with my old comp, that can run two SL viewers at a time. We turned both our avatars into the SL female student avatar and what's really crazy is that the size problem is still here and seenable on both viewers: my female student is tall and huge while her female student is small and thin.

We did check and they're both supposed to be the same size though.

Naaah. NOT perspective. As I said avatars DISPLAY bigger/smaller than they should.

The female student used to be an SL avatar, which answers your chracter test question. YES, did the ctrl something you adviced.

Anyways.

Me and my friend did an additional test with both our avys and our alts... that turned quite confusing, actually.

:-s ???

Thanks for the pic and clarification of your use of language.

Does indeed seem like your shapes differ. Try using the same shape asset by transferring it to your friends/alts, as well as removing any and all system shoe layers that you're wearing.

Kind of feel like I'm repeating myself at this point. If you think you've tried all of this then I have no further advice.

Good luck & bye.
